In these challenging times, we find ourselves grappling with a world that feels both uncertain and, at times, disheartening. The need for collective action and contributions has never been more evident. I wanted to share some updates and thoughts with you, as I firmly believe that, together, we can make a positive impact and work towards a safer, more secure future.

A Commitment to Community Safety:

I’ve recently taken a proactive step towards understanding how we can support our local community. In an effort to better comprehend the challenges faced by our local police department I have enrolled in the Beverly Police Citizens Academy. The experience has been nothing short of enlightening. The insights gained during my time at the academy have been truly invaluable. It has provided me with a firsthand understanding of the challenges, responsibilities, and the dedication that our local law enforcement officers bring to their work. The police force carries out a difficult and often under-appreciated job that most of us cannot fully apprehend.

It’s been a fascinating learning experience, and it has deepened my appreciation for the men and women who protect and serve our community day in and day out. Their dedication to our safety is unwavering, and it’s a commitment that often goes unnoticed. I intend to disclose the behind-the-scenes happenings and share the insights gained in a dedicated newsletter.

A Mother’s Concern for Child Safety:

As a mother, I share the deep concern of parents all across the country. The rising incidents of school shootings have created an atmosphere of fear and anxiety. The safety of our children is paramount, and it is our collective responsibility to address this critical issue. These concerns have driven me to work with my team to create “CyttaCARES” – the Crisis Alert and Response Emergency System. This innovative system connects school staff and first responders through real-time video, ensuring swift and coordinated responses in times of crisis. CyttaCARES is my personal mission to enhance safety and security in our educational institutions, safeguarding our children and better preparing our communities.

Every effort counts, and each one of us can contribute to making the world a safer place. By actively participating in our local communities, supporting charitable organizations, and collaborating with companies in the safety and security sector, we can collectively improve our lives and enhance our safety.
